Berkeley Tower in Business Bay is by Ellington Properties. It is not any other Dubai project with a similar name. This page covers who Ellington is in its own words, what it announced about the tower, what it has handed over on other projects, and why no handover date for this tower is given here. theberkeleydubai.com is an independent website, not the developer's.

Who Ellington is
Ellington Properties is a Dubai developer. On its about us page, it follows its own history "from design-led developer to lifestyle curator". The page lists design awards from 2016-2017 onwards. In a press release carried by Zawya, Ellington calls itself a design-led boutique developer.
Those are Ellington's own descriptions, not independent verdicts. This site has not rated the developer, and it makes no claim about how its projects have performed.
The developer's brochure and project brief name Ellington Properties as the developer. Neither names a legal entity. If you buy, the Sales and Purchase Agreement will name the seller, so ask who that is before you sign.

What it has said about the tower
Ellington unveiled Berkeley Tower on 20 October 2026. Its press release was published that day by Gulf Daily News and by TradeArabia.
The release says "unveiled", not "launched". Ellington's project page describes the building as a Grade A commercial high-rise with 60 floors, and lists the project as off-plan, which means it is still to be built.
The sizes of the offices are on the floor plans page, and the tower's position is on the location and Metro page.

Handovers elsewhere
In a press release published by Zawya, Ellington says it has begun handing over Ellington House II in Dubai Hills Estate and Arbor View in Arjan.
Both are residential projects. The release says nothing about when Berkeley Tower will be handed over, and it does not set a timetable for it. It shows only that Ellington has started handovers on other projects.

Handover for this tower
Ellington has not announced a handover date for Berkeley Tower. As of 27 October 2026, neither the developer's brochure nor its project brief gives one, and this site does not give one.
Dates quoted for the tower on other websites differ from one another and do not come from Ellington, so this page does not repeat them.
Ellington's general buyer FAQ describes how handover works across its projects. Near completion, Ellington notifies purchasers of the handover date by a completion notice. Purchasers are then invited to inspect the unit and list any defects. That page is general and does not mention Berkeley Tower.
- Ask for the process in writing. Ask how the completion notice will reach you and what it will contain.
- Ask what the contract says. The Sales and Purchase Agreement sets out what happens on completion. Read it before you sign.
